The Digital Health Check

Find out what your digital presence is actually doing and what it isn't.
Most businesses don't have a website problem. They have a visibility problem. Or a clarity problem. Or a trust problem that shows up as a website problem because that's where potential clients land when they're deciding whether to get in touch.
The Digital Health Check is a structured review of your entire digital presence not just your website. It looks at how you show up, what you're saying, whether it makes sense to the people you're trying to reach, and where the gaps are costing you business.
You'll finish with a clear picture of what's working, what isn't, and exactly what to do about it.
$750 + GST — delivered within 3 business days.

Every Digital Health Check covers the same ground because the gaps that matter tend to show up in the same places.

01

Your website

Structure, content and flow. Whether a visitor landing on your site for the first time can quickly understand what you do, who you help, and what to do next, without having to work for it. Most sites fail here not because they look wrong, but because the information is in the wrong order.
02

How you show up in serach

Whether your business is findable when someone searches for what you do, on Google, local results, and increasingly in AI-generated answers.
More people are getting their answers directly from AI tools like ChatGPT and Google's AI summaries rather than clicking through a list of results. We check whether your business appears in those answers, and whether what's said about you is accurate. A business that doesn't show up in AI search is missing a channel that's growing faster than any other.
We also check whether your Google Business Profile exists and it's been setup correctly.  And we check the key directories beyond Google —Bing Places, Apple Maps — where an incomplete or missing listing can quietly cost you visibility.
03

Your broader digital presence

A structured scan of your social profiles for brand consistency. Whether what someone finds on Facebook or Instagram matches what your website says and shows. Mismatched details, outdated contact information, and inconsistent branding are credibility leaks most business owners can't see because they're too close to it.
04

How your site performs

Speed, mobile usability, broken links, missing page information are all things that affect whether people stay on your site and whether Google takes it seriously. Most business owners don't know to check these. They're often the reason a site that looks perfectly fine isn't actually working.

A clear picture of where things stand and exactly what to do about it.

Findings document

A plain-language findings document that tells you what we found and what it means — written for someone who runs a business, not someone who reads marketing reports for a living.

Sitemap and wireframe

Where your site structure needs rethinking, you'll receive a sitemap and focused wireframe that makes the recommendation concrete. Not abstract suggestions, rather a clear picture of what it should look like.
Sitemap and wireframe are included where structural changes are recommended. A clean bill of health on structure is a legitimate and valuable outcome in itself.

20-minute findings call

A 20-minute call to walk through the findings, answer your questions, and work out what makes sense next.

The Digital Health Check stands on its own

Some clients take the findings, make the changes themselves, and that's the end of it. That's a completely legitimate outcome.
If a rebuild or new build is the right next step, the Digital Health Check becomes the foundation of that project since the discovery work is already done. Clients who proceed to a Foundation Build within six months receive a credit against the build cost.
If the review identifies specific gaps that can be closed quickly — a Google Business Profile that needs configuring, on-page corrections that would make an immediate difference — those can be quoted and handled separately.

Sometimes the review surfaces something that can be fixed without a full rebuild.

These are available as standalone additions following your Digital Health Check.

Not sure if this is the right starting point? Get in touch and we'll work out what makes sense.
No, but the Digital Health Check is most valuable when there is an existing website and digital presence to review. If you do not yet have a website, I can still assess what exists across search, social profiles and business listings, then identify the most useful next step. In some cases, a different starting service may make more sense.
No. The Digital Health Check is a paid professional service delivered by a human expert, not a tool-generated report. The value is in the interpretation and  understanding what the findings mean for your specific business and what to actually do about them.
No. The findings are yours to act on however you choose. That could be yourself, with another provider, or with Throughline Studio. If you do proceed to a Foundation Build within six months, the discovery work is already done and you'll receive a credit against the build cost.
Very little. We need a brief overview of your business and your website URL if you have one. If you have Google Analytics or Google Search Console set up (the tools that show how people find and use your site) access to those is useful but not required. The review proceeds without them.
You get a clear confirmation that your digital presence is in good shape, and a precise list of the smaller fixes that would make the biggest difference. That's a legitimate and valuable outcome on its own, and it's worth the investment.
Yes, and it's becoming more important quickly. When someone asks ChatGPT, Google's AI assistant, or a similar tool what they're looking for, they often get a direct answer with specific businesses named rather than a list of links to click through. If you business isn't appearing in those answers, you're missing referrals that your competitors may already be capturing. The Digital Health Check includes a review of how your business appears, or doesn't appear, in AI-generated search results. It's one of the few audit services that looks at this as a standard part of the process rather than a specialist add-on.
